Ascaldera commits, that transmitted or otherwise obtained data will be treated and stored in accordance with the applicable regulations and used only for the purpose for which they were transmitted.

For the purpose of better communication with the Ascaldera website the site uses »cookies«, which are small files that are saved to your disk during a visit to the site and facilitate further page visits. In case you would not like to use them you can change your browser settings and disable cookies, which can limit the functionality of the website or access to all of the information.

The owner of the site is working with the utmost care to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date. However, Ascaldera does not guarantee the accuracy or correctness of all information on the website. Ascaldera does not assume any responsibility for any damage that may result from the use, operation or misuse of the website. Ascaldera reserves the right to change the content published on the website.

General about the privacy policy

This privacy policy informs you about the practice of Ascaldera d.o.o. (hereinafter referred to as Ascaldera) regarding the collection and use of non-personal (anonymous) and personal data about you. By using the Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

In Ascaldera we respect your privacy and we will carefully protect your personal data. Ascaldera considers personal data as strictly confidential information and stores, protects and processes them in accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data (Personal Data Protection Act – Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC – General Data Protection Regulation).

Data to be collected (non-personal and personal data)

When visiting a web page, device data and other log data (IP address, date and time of visit) are collected automatically. This data are anonymous and cannot be used to identify the user’s identity.

We collect personal data if you tell us explicitly to do so (consent).

Notice regarding the processing of personal data collected through the online form

The contact address in the company for matters related to the processing of your personal data is the email address of the sales department.

In case you fill out the form on our website, the following personal data are collected: name and surname, email address, telephone number and your message. Excess data exceeding the purpose of the collection described below will be deleted at the first review, soon after your entry. We will use your personal data to answer any questions or comments you have provided us with.

Ascaldera keeps personal data in the central location of the company, protected from access by unauthorised persons. We do not transfer your personal data to any external users or processors.

We will keep your personal data collected through the online form until your cancellation of the consent to process them.

Notice on the use of personal data for the purposes of any employment collected through an employment form

The contact address for matters related to the processing of your personal data from the employment form is the email address of the Human Resources department.

In case of submitting data via the online form for the purpose of possible employment we collect the following personal data: basic personal data (name, surname, address, date of birth, contact details and possible link to LinkedIn profile), competence data (completed education, knowledge and skills), current employment educational attainment and other competences (experience, ways of performing tasks, attitude towards work, expectations towards the employer, etc.), which relate to the ability to perform work. If you provide a link to a Linkedin profile, we will use it to supplement your personal data listed above.

Excess data exceeding the purpose of their collection described below will be deleted at the first review, soon after your entry.

The purpose of collecting your personal data is as follows: If a concrete need for employment arises in Ascaldera and when a definite job description is created, the Human Resources Department will compare the requirements from job description with your personal data and find possible matching competencies. In case of sufficient matching we will contact you and, in case you will be interested, include you in appropriate selection procedure for recruitment, when and if such a procedure will be open, or in procedure for starting cooperation on another basis.

Your personal data from the employment form for the abovementioned purpose is used by the following internal users: Director, Personnel and Heads of Ascaldera Departments. Individual internal users of your personal data do not store them. They are stored in a central place in a company instead, protected from unintentional or unlawful destruction, loss, modification, unauthorised disclosure or access and under supervision of the human resources department.

We do not transfer your personal data to any external user or processor.

We will keep your personal data for a maximum of 2 years and we will extend or shorten this term according to your explicit request, if expressed. In any case we will not keep your data longer than:

  • until the conclusion of the regular procedure for employment in Ascaldera, if such procedure will arise.
  • until the beginning of business cooperation with you or cooperation on any other basis if such cooperation starts.

At the end of any of the deadlines stated above Ascaldera will permanently delete your personal data.

Data, that are starred, are data that are mandatory for Ascaldera to be able to correctly determine the possible matching of your personal data with the requirements of the workplace. We ask you to enter at least the personal data marked with an asterisk when filling in the employment form because otherwise we cannot properly apply your personal data for the abovementioned purposes and it would be incorrect from us to store and process incomplete data. So if you do not enter all the required data, we will not save your application.

Notwithstanding the statements in the previous paragraph, you may contact Ascaldera directly using the email address mentioned in the first paragraph of this section to obtain information on employment opportunities and on the collection of personal data for this purpose.

Rights of access, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to object

Concerning your personal data you provide to us for the purposes described in points 1 or 2, you have the following rights in accordance with the regulations:

  • to access your personal data stored by Ascaldera;
  • to rectification correction of personal data;
  • to erasure of your personala data, including in the case of cancellation of your consent (or several consents) you give to the processing of your personal data
  • to restriction of the processing of personal data;
  • to object to processing of your personal data;
  • to lodge a complaint concerning the processing of personal data with a supervisory authority.

In case of any request, please write to the contact email address mentioned in points 1 or 2 above. Please include in your request your contact details and a clear indication of the information to which your claim relates.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change the Privacy Policy at our sole discretion and, if necessary, at any time.
